YOBE Creative maintains this website for us and may access it for technical purposes only.
If you contact us. The form on this site asks for your name, email address, telephone number, the type of enquiry and your message. If you write by email, phone or WhatsApp instead, we hold whatever you send us there.
Our contact form runs on WPForms. Besides emailing your enquiry to us, it saves a copy in this website's database, so your message is stored on our hosting as well as in our inbox.
If we manage your property. We process the details needed to do the work: your contact and billing details, property details, booking and income records, and guest information supplied by you or by the booking platforms.
We do not run advertising trackers, analytics or profiling on this site, and we use no cookies to follow you across the web.
Where we handle check-in for a property we manage, Portuguese law requires every foreign guest's stay to be reported to the authorities through the accommodation bulletin system (SIBA), now operated by the PSP following the dissolution of SEF. We also collect and pay municipal tourist tax to the Câmara Municipal de Portimão. These are legal obligations, so guests cannot opt out of them, though all other rights below still apply.
Your enquiry is read by Pedro Almeida and our small team. We never sell personal data and never share it for marketing.
Data is disclosed only to those who need it to deliver the service or where the law requires: our website host, our email provider, booking platforms such as Airbnb and Booking.com, our accountant, and the public authorities named above.
Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept for up to two years and then deleted, including the copy stored by the contact form. Where we go on to manage your property, records are kept for the life of the relationship and afterwards for the periods Portuguese tax and accounting law requires — generally ten years for invoicing and accounting records.
Loading this page requests fonts from Google Fonts and a script library from Cloudflare's CDN. To deliver those files, those providers receive your IP address and basic browser information. We have no other relationship with them in connection with this site and receive nothing back from them.
The site saves one item in your browser's local storage, wi_lang, which remembers whether you chose English, Portuguese or Spanish. It holds no personal data and is not used for tracking. Clearing your browser data removes it.
Our hosting and email are provided within the European Union. Some service providers, such as the booking platforms and the content networks above, may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens it is covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
You may ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to receive it in a portable format. You may also withdraw consent where we relied on it, without affecting what we did beforehand. Write to info@welkomeinn.com and we will reply within one month.
If you believe we have mishandled your data you may complain to the Portuguese supervisory authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), at www.cnpd.pt.
This site is aimed at property owners and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. Where we hold details of a minor travelling as part of a guest booking, that data comes from the booking party and is used only for the mandatory reporting described above.
If this policy changes, the revised version appears here with a new date above.
